Password Management

Password must be at least 6 characters long.

New password must not be the same as the current password.

Maximum of five invalid password attempts are allowed and access will be locked out afterwards.

Password should not use same character more than twice.

Password should be changed regularly.

Password should not be based on user's name, birthday, phone numbers, personal information or other associative data.

Password must be kept strictly confidential at all times and not be divulged to anyone.

Password must be memorised and not written down or stored anywhere.

www.swissprivilege.com uses a multi-tier security system and 128-bit encryption to ensure that your data is secure. Only you, and those to whom you have granted authorisation, have access to your portfolio. The 128-bit encoded browser secures the data transferred between you and Swiss Privilege.

When you log in to the member area of www.swissprivilege.com a key or lock symbol will appear. The web site address will also change from "http://" to "https://". This indicates that you have established a secure transmission.

To further ensure the security of accessing your portfolio over the Internet, we have also implemented an expiry mechanism for each logon session.  A logon session will be automatically logged out after 10 mins of idle time, or when it reaches the maximum 30 mins session limit.  Either case, you may re-logon if necessary.

We maintain strict policies and regular controls towards protecting your personal information in our computer systems from loss, misuse, or unauthorised alteration. We protect all customer information in our servers behind multiple layers of Internet firewalls.

Anti-virus Software

Internet security requires constant vigilance and anti-virus security upgrades so that your PC files are safe. By working together, we can ensure your internet financial transactions are safe and totally secure.

To enhance your computer security, you may want to consider purchasing the following software**:

• McAfee Antivirus 7.0 by McAfee Security. Available at all major computer stores.
• Trend Micro PC-Cillin 2003 by Trend Micro Inc. Available at all major computer stores.
• F-Secure Anti-Virus Personal Edition by F- Secure corporation. Available at all major computer stores.

Cookies

In order to provide better service and to address certain security hazards, we will occasionally use "cookie" technology. When you log in or use our features we may pass "cookies" to your computer. A cookie, sent by a web site, is a device temporarily stored on your hard drive that enables your computer to retrieve stored information for the current logon session. The "cookie" can only be read by the web site that initially sent it. We use "cookies" only for administrative purposes. None of the cookies contain information that will enable anyone to contact you via telephone, e-mail, or any other means.
