The world class sporting event “Omega Golf Mission Hills World Cup”
was held in the Olazabal Course of the Mission Hills in Dongguan
on November 26-29. Club Suisse members with great passion for golf were privileged to see the world-class golfers such as Mcllroy,
Edoardo, and Yang Yong-eun completing against each other in the
specially arranged VIP tent on the 15th hole. With the dramatized
4-day schedule, audiences and golfers were increasingly engaged
day after day. During the tournament, the members were also
invited to visit the Cindy Reid Academy. Under the instructions of
US PGA coaches, they received a swing analysis class which greatly
expanded their own golfing nowledge and skill.

Overview of Omega Golf World Cup
The Omega Golf World Cup is a world-class sporting event
with long history. In 1953, John Jay Hopkins, an American
industrialist, founded the World Cup in hope to promote
goodwill among nations all over the world. Of the 4-day
tournament, the first and fourth day is four-ball match,
whereas the second and fourth day is foursome. In this year,
28 national teams joined the 55th World Cup, competing
for 5,500,000 US dollars. After a series of tight matches,
the Italian team won the champion. |
